You can start acquiring knowledge by simply visiting the altcoin bounty board.  Read any bounty campaign thread and understand the task and requirement in order to earn from the campaign.  If you are thinking that bounty campaign is a quickest way to earn, you are mistaking, it often times the longest way to earn since many bounty campaign run for several months and requires another month for token distribution.  Between that you might find yourself unlucky if after 2 or 3 months of waiting, the token paid to you is worthless, worst the project you join is a scam.

You must be careful in choosing which project to join in and check their reward if the time, effort and payment compliment each other since most of the time, the payment for bounty is less than the amount of money you spend for your internet connection.
