Erik Ten Hag knows the quality of players he's hiring for games, we would experience more tougher games this season from Manchester United. The new striker, Rasmus Højlund returning from injury and making good impacts on the pitch. His presence was felt and a big threat to his opponents, he's agile and always ready to compete full strength with the defenders. On his debut against Gunners, it definitely means they can be a prominent and permanent striker for the Red Devils. It's his first game and there's more games he will definitely feature in, but currently the he will be pairing with Anthony Martial.
With the kind of performance Martial put out yesterday it would be hard for him to see start any premier league. Hojlund came on and had a better impact than the Frenchman. His hold up play was top notch that I would say since the departure of Cavani and Ronaldo united have found a proper striker, this time around a younger one that could win games on his own for the club. Two things Hojlund needs now is quality deliveries by the players most especially his wingers and then the support of the fans because he will need it as the season progresses. Premier is physical and he needs to start winning those battles against the defenders and as such he could go games without goals. And as we all know once a striker is signed for a big money like him and does two matches with its goals fans start calling them out I hope United fans don’t turn against the boy like that and give him time. As for martial I think his game might just be reduce to subs and starting of cup games for now
