Ramos already had a verbal agreement with Sevilla, he is going back there at the moment. I think it is quite good and important to make sure that we are going to end up with something different, it should be important to realize that Ramos will not accept to go towards teams like that just yet, he wants to play a bit more at teams that matter.
Sevilla is a good one at that, they are both at La Liga and they are also in the UCL as well, which gives him chance to play at the top flight a bit more. Doesn't mean they will do well, but it is better than Saudi or MLS situation for him, it still gives him chance to go against the best in the world and try his luck. It could definitely be a good thing for him to do that for a year more.
Ramos decision to return to Sevilla surprised many parties. Sevilla is not a foreign club for Ramos because he wore the Sevilla jersey at the start of his career, but this decision made him miss the opportunity to earn a large salary in order to continue his career with Sevilla.
Before the deal with Sevilla took place, there were two other offers coming for Ramos from a Turkish club and a Saudi Arabian club. Galatasaray is willing to pay Ramos 11 million euros, while Al Ittihad dares to offer a salary of 20 million euros.
Ramos passed up the opportunity for a big salary for the club that has made his name as a professional footballer, he is estimated to earn around 2 million euros per year, the amount is 10x less than the offers he got in Saudi Arabia. However, Ramos can still play in the top flight with Sevilla, he can enjoy more challenging competition for the rest of his career. Perhaps he prefers the honor of being able to retire with his boyhood club over money.
