It's such a common sign in the football. The winner has no comment regarding the decision from the referee while the loser will be complaining about some horrible decisions taken by the referee.
It's only wasting their energy if they blame referees for this. I meant even though if referee was making the wrong call to the match between arsenal vs MU. The referee will be only apologizing their mistakes.
The scores will not be changed. MU fans just need to move on from this kind of situation. They shall have blamed ETH for worst decision by putting meguire and evan in.
This is normal because even though there are sophisticated tools, the referee still has an assessment before making a decision. I also don't see the referee's decision favoring either team because Arsenal were also not given a penalty after the Manchester United defender committed a foul and the referee also saw the replay first via VAR before deciding. The performances of the two teams played well and I think the game was fairly even, it's just that Arsenal were able to take advantage of the extra minutes to score two goals because Manchester United were too focused on attacking.
Football fans wouldn't completely blame ETH as a tactician nor would they blame Meguire or Evan in this match as neither of them played badly in the match. At least this is a lesson for ETH when trying to attack with full power, it's quite a risk of being conceded if the Defender isn't ready to anticipate a quick counterattack from the opponent. That's what happened in the Arsenal vs Manchester United game and I don't think the Manchester United players expected that to happen either.
It is really very joke if there are people who say the referee in leading the match is unfair. With a high tempo match that was applied by the two teams, the referee had to work extra hard and he was very fair in making every decision.
The results of the match did get a different assessment from fans of the two teams but in my opinion the results of the match were really quite extraordinary if we see the process.
Actually the match was quite a look for both teams, but the tactic war was won by Arteta, he was really quite observant in making decisions and he also had sufficient ammunition. While Erik Ten Hag has tried to implement a pretty good strategy, but unfortunately he must accept the harsh reality when his flagship players fell during the game. His decision to include Maguire and Evans was an urgent choice and I thought it was not a mistake.
