The two teams that competed in the quarter-finals last season, namely Benfica and Inter, will be in group D for this season's Champions League. Both will be accompanied by Salzburg and Real Sociedad, who are also newcomers this season. Inter Milan have consistency performance in domestic league and regarding their achievement last season success managed until final stage before beating by Manchester City.

For Benfica is favorable teams will finish on 2nd placed Group D, they have much experienced with Champion League and last season achievement success qualify from group stage.
