I have message theymos severally and when he was giving us the local baord I talked with him about the merit condition because that has been my allocation before the local board was created but his reply was that the forum isn't looking to add more merit to circulation and that's just frustrating to the local board but what can we do, most times I even keep my smerits earned from merit received for the baord just to keep the energy high on the board.
That sucks, but it just confirms smething that we suspected (or even knew) for some time, that he doesn't make any individual merit adjustments but instead he is doing it generally, and only when merit sent drops down significantly.
Last month 25727 merits were shared across the forum (which is very similar to the amount of merits shared after the last adjustment in July 2021 (26411) meaning there no significant drop. For example, prior to the last adjusment, 13289 merits were shared in May 2021 and only after that theymos reacted. Add on that fact that compared to the same time two years ago we have ~50% less posts and active members and we might wait for quite some time for a new meriot adjustment.
