Looking forward to see Amrabat competing in that midfied, the midfied too soft against Arsenal, it needed energy and names like Bruno and Eriksen were absent in that game they did not have a good game and could not beat Arsenal midfielders.
Brighton are one of the sides when building from the backline to the front, with few players absent and Injured for Brighton Man United may have a good chance to win but that defense is too weak. Imagine Harry Maguire saying he wants to fight for his place when Man United should have sent him out on loan or complete sell out. He has never being a good player.
Now that Erik Ten Hag has an alternative in midfield, Amrabat's arrival is expected to provide an injection of fire when the other midfielders are deadlocked. But can Amrabat win a place in that position? Of course MU fans really hope that he will be used against Brighton, but if he doesn't get playing minutes then it will certainly be a waste of his recruitment. I also agree that Bruno or Eriksen should be benched for a while.
The problems currently being faced by the Red Devils are likely to continue, if the midfield already has an alternative then ETH will have to think hard to overcome the problems in the back line. Injuries to several mainstay players will certainly be very detrimental, but there is no other choice for Ten Hag other than relying on Maguire or Evans again. Maguire should not have been included in Ten Hag's plans but due to the collapse of the back line, the Dutchman returned to retain him. I think ETH is quite a dilemma at the moment.
