Yes I agree with you. Diversification is great but diversifying too much will not bring you any benefit. If one coin goes down in price and several other coins go up, of course that's not a good thing either. You won't really make a profit by diversifying a lot.
Just have your portfolio in 3 or 4 altcoins like CRO, XRP, MATIC and Vechain. It is my asset and I think it is the best altcoin in my opinion.
Yes, 3-4 portfolios seems to be enough, I'm also just one of them. But the selection of what Coin you want to hold is your own responsibility. If you believe it, do research and make sure the project continues and has good development.
XRP is definitely not the one I would have picked there. I have always said that four horseman of crypto is btc, eth, bnb and ltc because those are the four that is known the most and loved the most with as little questions as possible.
I know that it is going to be a tough thing for a lot of people to accept that but XRP has been a scam ever since it started, I do not think that it would be something that could make a profit that easily and we should avoid it as much as we possibly could. I know that it is not going to be a simple thing, but I can't really make it work that easily neither, it just doesn't seem to be possible for people to understand why they should stay away from XRP, so I just let them be and learn themselves.
I am also aware that XRP is not an option for everyone, I am just referring to what the OP said, I also have very little XRP and hold more BTC, ETH and BNB, and LTC seems to be a good option for the long term as well. some coins will provide maximum profits when the bullrun comes, we just need to wait. But stay away from some coins that are not recommended
