Being responsible in gambling is really tough. The best thing if we hadn't lost out of gambling we could've had good sum of money and there is no need of expecting big win from gambling. My gambling activities have got positive effects on my finance and I clearly remember few incidents. One of which is a win that happened when I was in hard need of money. I didn't meant to gamble, but whatever the roll, it was a win. I continued and the winning continued. At some point my requirement is met, and further I gambled and won. Now fear accomplished and I ended the session, maybe if I had continued I could've lost everything.
I like your attitude, gambling is something that cannot be predicted, and if you win it is just luck, I myself have also experienced a time when I really needed money and I was playing gambling for fun as a result I got the jackpot and I was very happy , but I took the wrong action instead of withdrawing the money but I continued playing because I wanted to double the money but instead of increasing it instead I lost money which should have been my luck
