Scotland are playing so well currently and the only team that managed to score a goal against them in Group A are Norway, with such solid defense in place, it might be hard for Cyprus to score any goals against Scotland. I guess Scotland should be able to claim another victory in Group A with a clean sheet against Cyprus at the end of the match.
Surprising to see Scotland is going so good this qualifiers period. They were in hibernation for years at national football level, even in Euro 2020 they were pretty much unsuccessful. Cyprus is pretty weaker than them for sure. Most of their players are from rather less known teams. Scotland has impressive amount of advantage over Norway in group stage right now so beating Cyprus can be their finisher to go group stages in my opinion.
Yeah I don't think many people expected Scotland to be so confident in the qualifying round. I think everyone thought Spain were the favorites, and the second place was given to Norway with Haaland, but in the end Norway is likely to be good if it finishes the qualification in third place in the group, and Spain is likely to be second, while it has 2 games in reserve and in theory 9 points it can take after 4 rounds, and Scotland should beat Cyprus, which has 0 points and get out of the group from the first place.
Grisia also have a chance to grab the second place with 4 points and 3 games, but most likely they will end up in the 3rd place.
