Borussia Dortmund has always sold important players, so it didn't really matter with Bellingham's transfer to Real Madrid and Dortmund will still be the top team in the Bundeliga, but it must be admitted that this season they won't be as strong as last season and also of course the competition at the top the Bundesliga standings with Bayern will not be as competitive as last season, Dortmund will still be Bayern's shadow.
But you also have to watch out for there are several Bundesliga teams that have started to develop much better this season and that is a bit of a threat to Dortmund at the top of the standings to fight for a ticket to the UCL.
The problem is that when they sold Sancho, they still had Haaland and Jude there, when they sold Haaland, they had Jude still there, now that Jude is gone as well, who is there? There isn't a single player that worths that much money left in the club. Sure they have some good players but none of them worths that much and they are not going to end up paying anyone anything that big anymore.
They are going to end up with something much better if they could find some young stars again, it is not impossible and it can be done but I think it is not going to happen. This is why I believe that it is going to be a bit more tough for them and I believe that the results will not be as highly regarded as people think it will be.
