Atletico Madrid haven't made much change in their squad for this season. This is a usual thing for Atletico Madrid so I'm not surprised with that. However they have still made a good progress compared to last season. Because this time Atletico Madrid started the season really strongly. Especially that win by 7-0 was brutal. 
Atletico madrid will never change its habit if the club is still being maanged by simeone. Winning with great scores were just usual thing atletico madrid had a very good chemistry. Simeone was not doing a lot of change caused by it would be impacting club's chemistry. I do understand why he was always doing it.

The only possible competitor for real madrid other than barcelona was atletico. This club keeps repeat the same pattern over and over again. I never saw something different from simeone. Do you think they can maintain their claim for the title for a long time?
I don't think they can. Barcleona and real madrid are the strongest contenders here. Atletico might be using the same compositions like previous season but atletico was just atletico. It needs a miracle to take the trophy from real madrid or barcelona.
