Barcelona's overall performance last season was not consistent. If they wanted to target both the La Liga and Champions League titles, they wouldn't have won either. It is very difficult to maintain consistency in both of these places. So Barcelona's goal was only the La Liga title . We have seen their poor performance in the Champions League. But this season the scenario is different. The Barcelona team is quite strong this season. Players are able to perform very well. Xavi has been able to stabilize and strengthen this team. It is expected that Barcelona will not disappoint us in the Champions League this season. We will see a good performance from Barcelona.
I am sure that the team is working much on improving their performance this season in champions league. Last season they weren't much of a threat to other club. Seems the players play much on the peach and most player gets injured. I think what the team needs is someone who will motivate them on the peach and increase their anxiety to paly better.
