Everton at home has been a problem for Arsenal in previous seasons because they contributed to last season’s failure to win the Premier League, even though we know that they lacked squad depth last season. Nevertheless, with Everton’s current performance, I don’t think they can stop Arsenal from going home with three points, even if Arsenal play a three-man defense.
A three-man defense play by a team doesn’t mean that the team is underrating its opponent but could also mean how easily the team can be able to penetrate their opponent to gain a victory. There is no problem with Arsenal using a three man defense for this game, after all, Everton is a lesser strong side compared to Arsenal for a while now. I am sure Arsenal will be able to win them and take 3-points home this time around unlike their last meeting in last season.
Each season, instead of Everton to improve in their premier league performance, they choose not to improve after signing some new players into their roster in this transfer window. I was expecting to see some improvement in the Everton team but haven't seen yet.
Currently, they are at the bottom table(18th) of the premier league table with a point. Arsenal is going to have the 3 points without a doubt. Everton wouldn't dare to hold Arsenal to a draw this season. Arsenal is coming for them with full annoyance to drill them with goals because they are among the clubs they lost to, which got them denied of lifting the premier league trophy last season
