Exactly that kind of thinking. However, when I win a bet in football, I feel very happy but do not realize that I have experienced a losing streak and can even say this is a bad day.
Actually there are too many defenses about it, wherever it will win or lose my defense is for fun, no money is really expected here in terms of income.

Yes, there's a big difference between how the gambler "feels" and what the reality is.

Casinos are great at making gamblers "feel" like they are winning, when in reality they are paying a premium to stay there, giving their money away to the casinos.

It really is just logic and math. Why would a casino give away free food and drinks to someone that is extracting money from them?, that would make no sense. But the other way around?, now you have a solid business...
