In general, for this season, Manchester United needs players to support their own performance this season so they don't have to just throw away existing players. I think Antony should still be retained by Ten Hag even though Ten Hag himself has to make several other players to be better in a line that is no different from Antony.
We watched and experienced tough times at Old Trafford, but hoping everything will get better for the club as time goes on. The players specifically the frontlines having some problematic issues arising, for instance Anthony dropped from the squad due to the allegations levlled against him. We just hope he fall out to be innocent of all the allegations, because if he's guilty, that's the end of his limelight professional football career. Erik Ten Hag have done a great job for Manchester United, his presence have triggered good development for the club.
In fact, it would be better if Antony remained in the squad until the results of the trial came out. Because these accusations have not been proven to be true. So I think it would be better if Antony was dropped from the squad when the accusations made against him have been proven with certainty. Greenwood last year was caught in a similar case. And he was also temporarily removed from the squad after the allegations emerged. Even though at that time the accusation had not yet been proven. And finally the case was closed. But Greenwood still suffered losses because he stopped playing for a long time. And it looks like Antony could be experiencing the same thing. Old Trafford is indeed being tested quite severely. Ten Heg really had to think hard now. Because he has to readjust the squad without Antony.
