A part of me says that this is the right call considering Laurent Blanc's not being able to make much improvement since the previous season. You know they couldn't qualify for any European competition due to their bad placement. This season started horrible for them as well.
The other part of me questions this decision about if it was too early to sack him. But I guess they did the right thing because Lyon's statistics so far have been really poor. A team like Lyon deserve to be managed much better than this. They should be competitive for top 6 to achieve something this season.
