Signature can be disabled by theymos.Companies run their marketing here through signature campaigns can shut down their businesses, scam exit, decide to stop their signature campaigns or their companies are seized by governments.

I quoted some suddenly ended campaigns.
We've been running our Bitcointalk signature campaign for for more than 3 years now starting back in 2016!
However, as of next week our signature campaign will be discontinued.
