Is acquiring Oshimen the right move? Are there other aspects beyond the attacking line that are influencing Chelsea's current performance?
This is what Chelsea should have done during the transfer market but failed to do. We can now see the lapses in the team and to caution the effect of it now will be very hard for the team to do. The transfer market is closed, they will have to be managing with the ones they have now in order to keep up with the league. Osimehn is the striker needed at Chelsea now but they’ll have to wait till midseason transfer before they can have him if he also agrees to join them. Despite all the signings, Chelsea are yet to do anything spectacular in the team and keep up with the failures of losing to teams.
Manchester City is one of the favorites to win the English Premier League this season. They won the league title three years in a row, and this season might be the fourth in a row if Pep achieves it again. Aside from being first in the standings, there is plenty of game to be played in the long term. Kyle Walker has agreed to a new contract with Manchester City that will last until June 2026. Walker turned down proposals from prestigious clubs such as Bayern Munich because he wants to build an established track record at Etihad stadium, perhapes he still face some challenges.
I am also in support of this decision by Kyle Walker, this is a good move from him and also a good one for Manchester City. Losing a defender as experienced as he is will make Manchester City defense to be weak. I have watched him many times and have being impressed with the way he plays, how he handles the defense and also help to keep up with attacks by assisting and also crossing out area balls for the team. All the best to him in his continuous career at Manchester City.
