Chelsea started this first half so far with a brilliant performance, and I love the men that Pochettino featured in this game, it shows that he's fully out to win today's game. Ugochukwu and Gallagher's coordination is interesting, and Raheem Sterling's finishing with the ball hasn't been smart enough hence Chelsea would have been leading in this game. If Chelsea maintains the consistency which I have seen in this match Chelsea will most likely go home with the 3 points.
But they didn't maintain the consistency because Bournemouth had the second half and Chelsea were just lucky that they didn't concede because Bournemouth outplayed Chelsea. Chelsea started the game well but it seems everything change when mudrky was removed. Although he wasn't contributing much to the game but his understanding with Jackson was the reason we had the first leg under control but immediately he was removed from the game, Bournemouth find a breakthrough and started domination the game in the second half. I'm surprised Chelsea didn't concede in the second half of the games because we had so many chance of going 1-0 down but Bournemouth couldn't take their chances. Pochettino is constantly providing he isn't the main man for the Chelsea job because I haven't seen any improvements since he took charge of the club.
Chelsea should have won with the many opportunities created by Chelsea. Until the 78th minute which gave birth to the first corner kick for Bournemouth, Chelsea had taken 6 corner kicks.
Winning a game isn't about corners or ball possession because if it was about that then Chelsea would have won this game but we lack finishers and that's the genesis of our crises. Today game was a disaster because Bournemouth aren't the best of opponents that we should be scares about. Chelsea didn't just want to win this games because if they truly wanted to win the game then they should have done it in the first half because that was when we had the advantage of the games as we dominated the first half and should have been abel to score multiple goals. I was confident about this game because the manager changed formation and included players that he won't have normally started like Mudrky but they didn't impressed the coach and I won't be surprised if he starts his usual lineup in the next match because everybody is just a flop at the club.
