But I was very disappointed with Chelsea's performances against Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth. Chelsea lost 1-0 against Nottingham Forest and today drew goalless against Bournemouth. Today's match at least I expected better performance from Chesley. But as usual Chelsea's performance was very poor. The performance of Chelsea's attacking players was poor. The performance of the players made me feel like they were aimless. They have no match strategy. Coach Pochettino has failed so far. There was nothing he could demonstrate to prove his ability. Chelsea management may be looking for a new coach again.
The funny thing is that now they have an easy series of games - out of 5 games, the only serious rivals were Liverpool and somehow Chelsea managed to draw with them. After Chelsea's performance in their first English Premier League game against Liverpool, I thought that there was a very significant improvement from what we saw from the club last season but unfortunately, the club is still far from coming back to their best. It's still very early days of the season but I'll be surprised to see Chelsea finish I the top four at the end of the season.
Pochettino needs to come up with a new strategy to motivate these players in order for them to put in their best performance. Jao Felix is performing very well in Barca currently, compared to when he was in Chelsea last season. This shows that there is a problem in the coaching side, or maybe the players don't have passion to win matches.
