After some not-so-favorable matches for Roma they finally managed to get 3 points with a very good score in this match which makes me quite happy with the bet I made.
This score is enough to make them get something good and the mental improvement will definitely be seen with a big win like this.
It is a good bounce for Roma and they can move forwards with more confidence but it's too soon to say Roma actually come back after only one winning. It gives Roma light at the end of tunnel but they must maintain this performance in next matches.
They still have some injured players and most important, their captain Lorenzo Pellegrini. They will need the captain to come back as soon as possible as he provides more creativeness in their midfield and can help attacking players like Dybala, Lukaku, Belotti and Azmoun have more opportunities to score goals for Roma.
But on the other hand, this week is also not too pleasant for some other big clubs. Napoli missed out on full points again and my expectations for the Milan Derby didn't quite match up with reality. Inter and Milan were so far apart that I was expecting a good 90 minutes of rivalry but Milan still didn't seem to be able to deliver so the scoreline wasn't really unexpected.
Napoli and Milan lost points but Inter Milan continued their good performance and looks like they are ready to take Scudetto again after losing it to AC Milan and Napoli in two latest seasons.
When Napoli former manager Luciano Spalletti left his role as the manager of the club after a successful season with the club which he won the Italian Serie A title for Napoli after over 30 years that they never laid hand on the league trophy which they won back in the 1989/90 season, I was of the opinion that it'll be difficult for a new manager to step in and replicate what he did with the team last season.
Spalletti made history with Napoli and it can be highest achievement in his coach career if he won't make bigger ones with Italy national team. Napoli should appreciate his contributions and make a statue of Spalletti as he deserves to mark deeply in history of Napoli.
The new manager Rudi Garcia without doubt is a good coach but winning the Scudetto in his first season with Napoli will be very difficult for him.
Even a good coach still finds difficulty to win Scudetto with Napoli because they are not winning team like Juventus, AC Milan or Inter Milan. Winning Scudetto with Napoli is like doing it with Roma or Lazio. Those clubs don't win Scudetto too often in long history of Serie A.
