Hi Bitcoiners,
I know I discussed dust & UTXOs partitioning before (at least for stateless servers if not for all), but viewing this curve after such a long time was kind of shocking!
https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-dustiest-bitcoin-addresses.htmlAm I reading the curve right that there are 76M dust UTXOs out of 129.6 M in total? (
Dust ≥ 58.6%)
Did someone else take the lead of suggesting their separation, or is it that the Bitcoin community still doesn't have a problem with this unnecessary burden (I think could be easily overcome)?
.
I don't mean delete them, just put them in a less probable to be used area (or Merkle if we talking about stateless design)
-Also for LN side chains last time I checked on Bitcoin, you put 2 dust UTXOs in the TX only one of them is spent. We could link any 2 dust UTXOs in one TX, and in addition to putting them in the
less probable area; when one is spent the 2nd get removed to a
very rare probability third area.
