Newcastle got a draw in their first match in their return to UCL I think it's not a bad performance after defending almost throughout the duration of the match and got their only shot on target during stoppage time while AC Milan were very unlucky to score a goal after missing some goal scoring chances indeed poor finishing  by their final third especially Leao was their missing link  I hope those misses would not later cost them chances of group qualification, meanwhile Newcastle needed to win their home matches to stand a chance of qualifying for the next round, meanwhile Barcelona is presently leading Royal Antwerp 3-0 while Man City is losing 0-1 against  Red Star half time.
They were lucky the strategy worked out for them, it was not a bad performance and it’s a good way to start the competition even though it’s not a perfect start. I expected a good performance from AC Milan even though people were complaining of their poor performance lately I knew they wouldn’t let their fans down at home. They should have tried to win this leg because it be a total different game when they travel to England because Newcastle would be prepared for them and they would give it their all. There is still hope for Newcastle to qualify of they can beat Dortmund and pray Milan drop points to Dortmund.

I can see how Barcelona is digracing their opponent in Camp Nou, as they have scored three goals and their visitors are finding it difficult to stop them from scoring more goals. Jao Felix scored the first goal on the 11th minutes with a good finish after he received a pass from Gudogan, followed by Lewandoski on the 19th minutes before Bataille deflection lead to an own goal.
It’s a great night for Barcelona and their fans, Antwarp was an easy win and I don’t think there is anyone in that group that can stop barca right now. They have been excellent since the arrival of the two Joao’s, Felix and Cancelo have boosted the strength of the team and since their arrival they have been scoring numbers and Felix has been contributing well so far and scoring back to back goals. It’s as if he has been in the club for long and within a short time he seem to have settled and adapted to the teams style of play.

It would be unfortunate if Felix leaves by the end of the season because Barca don’t seem like they can afford to pay Felix release clause to make his deal permanent but let’s wait and see what happens.
