However, there was one match that was quite boring with no goals being scored, namely Milan vs Newcastle and even though I know there were a lot of saves made by the Newcastle goalkeeper, Newcastle in this match still seemed to only be aiming for a draw rather than counterattacking. Undecided

With the current conditions that is the best result from Newcastle. They realise they are not as good as Milan. One point at San Siro is great for a comer after 10 years of not participating. Their player stats are below Milan's. Although I am quite difficult to see this Group. Because the other 2 teams PSG and Dortmund are equally strong. This 1 point also opens their chances of qualifying for the top 16. Although there are still 5 matches left.
Indeed, that is a very rational result that Newcastle has targeted when they visit Milan and I think Eddie Howie has been quite good at giving that direction to his players. One point in the hell group means a lot for Newcastle and I think they did quite well compared to Dortmund who had to be willing to not get a point in the away match against PSG.

Talking about other matches, Lazio against Atletico was no less exciting because Atletico was almost certain to win by a close score but that all vanished when they entered injury time and Lazio managed to equalize. Lazio's hero was not a defender, midfielder or even striker but it was their goalkeeper Provedel who scored the goal. In that match he seemed to have grasped all the possibilities and he dared to go forward until he finally received a cross from Luis Alberto before he finally headed it and scored a goal. It was an unexpected result because Lazio are still working hard so that they don't lose at home.
