You are overrating India here. This is the same team that lost to Bangladesh recently despite some senior players being left out. They have the lineup to win the World Cup, but teams like Australia, England and South Africa have better chances in my honest opinion.
They actually have a good lineup. Probably they will be able to do very well in the World Cup. I actually think that they have been inconsistent in recent times because they have done some experiments with the team. so that could probably be a reason for them being inconsistent in recent times. But at the same time, the Australian squad and even the England squad are definitely a little better. so to say that India is surely going to win. The World Cup is being a little too overconfident in my opinion.
We also cannot say that just because India lost against Bangladesh, they will not be able to win against bigger opponents. That's because the match against Bangladesh was not important at all.
