Maybe if Xabi Alonso is the coach of this team for 2/3 more seasons, he will be able to take this team close to the level of Bayern Munich. But it is good to see that another club has emerged which can give big problems to Bayern Munich. At the same time, it is probably not going to be a good thing to assume that it will happen. For the time being, Bayern Munich continues to rule, but Leverkusen tenacity is a positive step towards more competitive seasons in the future.
