I often advise people that gambling should be done for enjoyment, not as a way to achieve big dreams. When someone becomes addicted to gambling, they lose the ability to recognize when they're making mistakes and to the extents of owning depts. It's crucial to be aware of the possible harmful effects of gambling and to be responsible if you choose to gamble. Gambling can lead to stress, anxiety, depression, and money troubles if you don't set limits and use caution.
It is difficult to advise someone who is addicted to gambling because all they have in mind is playing and getting money because they think that gambling will make a lot of money even though that is a wrong thought, no one is truly successful because of gambling (IMO).

Experienced and responsible gamblers can definitely control their expenses well because they use gambling only for fun, not to get a steady income, even if they lose, it's not a problem for them because gambling has risk
