He is a very strong figure as a leader and that's whatwe need right now. We can't afford to lose such important player when we are in squad building process. So Odegaard's contract extension was obvious from Arsenal's point of view. He is the crucial squad member right now if Arsenal wants to have a good future ahead. I am glad that Arsenal secured Odegaard as without him there wouldn't be a strong player who can lead as well like Odegaard inside the squad.
Arsenal will try everything to keep Odegaard, I think he will never leave Arsenal because he has a good work ethic and not interested to jump to other team. It's a huge lose if Odegaard leave Arsenal, Arteta need to work really hard to find a player that can replace his position.
