Barcelona is also experiencing a financial crisis so it is impossible to return Messi or Neymar to his old club, Barcelona will not be able to afford on the one hand their salaries are small there and they are old, what to expect in these two former Barcelona players who will soon retire.

Ronaldo had a conflict with Manchester United so he was dropped from the squad. But he seems happy now to be in the Arab League with a lot of money. LOL

Joao Felix is a loan player, if Atletico Madrid put a high price tag it seems Barcelona will not dare to take it, just rely on young players from the academy, but now they are not in a player crisis so stay relaxed for Xavi.

Barcelona have issues with La Liga FFP rules unfortunately so they aren't able to spend a lot of money for transfers for now. This was why they couldn't sign Joao Felix permanently.

However this is still not a problem for Barcelona currently. Because their current performance level is quite satisfying. They have just destroyed Antwerp in the Champions League by a big gap. I felt like we were in good old days of Barcelona.  Grin  Felix is really impressive since he joined them. He is playing for his dream team of course. I have never seen him this ambitious.  Smiley

Even though the opponent in this match was not the strongest, but the result is really very good, especially it can help to raise their competitive spirit. Despite the problems with finances, the transfer window was conducted decently, and most importantly - productively, because you can see that it went in their favour, they spent minimum money and got maximum return

The career of Cristiano Ronaldo should have ended in a better way. Only if he decided to go to Manchester City instead of Manchester United. His career definitely would have ended in a better way. I don't know how you can decide to not play the very player that carried you on his back in the last season. But they did make that decision and I know a lot of people are going to say that this was the right decision made by them. And they will also say that Manchester United has definitely improved after that. But honestly, I do not see the improvement. They still have the same old problems that they had before. Cristiano Ronaldo is still saying that he wants to play in the next World Cup for Portugal. I do not think he will actually get a chance in the squad.

Anyone who thought Messi and Neymar were going to return to Barcelona is definitely stupid. Barcelona currently cannot even register players because they don't have enough money. How are they going to pay Messi and Neymar the salary?

I've never heard any rumours that Neymar might return to Barcelona. Messi as far as we know rejected the idea himself because he found cutting other players' wages for his presence unacceptable and it was indeed a wise decision. In the end Barcelona could theoretically afford it anyway by cutting other players' wages and their budget wouldn't suffer much, and the worst part is that they were prepared to do it despite the fact that they are already very much in debt

I think Messi should not have considered his commitment to the club economically. They could have agreed on a symbolic figure, since Messi can still earn big money through advertisements. Barcelona might not be able to give him the salary he wanted, but I would expect him to be more loyal to Barcelona.
A little confused about understanding some of these differences of opinion because some say Messi only thinks about money and some think Messi shouldn't think only about money.
But personally, I think more realistically, as we can see that currently Messi is 36 years old and a bit old, we don't even know when he will decide to retire and for a star player, having the thought of joining a club that is able to provide a large salary is an option to collect a lot of money before the player retires even though he has earned large amounts of money from sponsors or advertising, but that is not hypocritical when a player thinks about money before retiring.
Messi move to MLS is a policy between him and his family because I see he wants to end his career there to be with his family and enjoy the remaining salary from his football.
