Jeremie Boga's goal at 90+1 really decided the game and Monaco were handed their first defeat of the season at home (Louis II Stadium).
The match was as balanced as you'd expect but looking at the chances created Nice were actually more dominant and indeed the 3 points they got in this match were very good in my opinion for their confidence.

Not too surprised by either club's slim lead as looking at their strengths in statistics they are completely evenly matched but in this case of course this match is not too pleasant for Monaco.
Losing 1 goal and that at the end of the second half when 1 point was in sight must have been a bit painful.

With the defeat in this match also they must be prepared with some possibilities to be eroded because now Nice has overtaken and it is not impossible that there are several more clubs preparing to shift Monaco in the end.

Btw Brest will face Lyon this week where these two clubs seem to have swapped fates and it will be interesting.
