I would say Newcastle and PSG played very well in the first match. Milan is one of the strongest teams in this group. Newcastle scored 1 point in the away match against Milan. The Newcastle team played well despite being inexperienced in the Champions League.
This is incorrect; it was an embarrassing performance by Newcastle United in the champions league as they did not attempt to even attack for majority of the moments in the tie; they camped in a tight low block and were only lucky to go home with a point because AC Milan were wasteful in front of goal with main culprit Raphael Leao.
