City are possession playing team and with that opponents doesn't has much chances. A team planning to win against City should be able to sharpen their attack enough to find goals in just few attempts because that is how it is when a club faces a side like City. Forest are not sharp enough and no wonder that they haven't found a goal against City till now. I think even with red card they wouldn't be able to find a goal.
The match was over and Nottingham was still unable to score a goal even though they created more goal opportunities in the second half. Nottingham played better in the second half because Manchester City tended to defend due to a lack of 1 player. Of course, Nottingham almost scored a goal, but Ederson's neat performance prevented it.
I don't know why there was so much drama in this match that the Manchester City players shouldn't have. The match became increasingly tense throughout the second half, but Manchester City again proved that they had a good defense rather than the sharpness of their striker.
The fact that Nottm Forest was unable to score against Manchester City after Rodrigo was sent off at the start of the second half demonstrates how well-prepared Manchester City's defense is to not allow a goal or enable any team to deny them the three points. Given that, Rodrigo messed up full-time by committing a red card offense that scattered Manchester City's formation. I am not surprised that Nottm Forest was able to breach their defense because of that.
Manchester City has gone undefeated in six of their games and is gradually accumulating three points. They probably won't allow any club to win the premier title this year, in my opinion.
