Yes because mental wellness will give birth to every other productive part of the human being and if anything affect the mental state,  it will result into so many negative experience for the gambler and this will not be a good outcome.

Some times,  taking a enough rest also helps a lot in repairing the mental states,  I have a ruin that I have maintained over the years and that is taking 2-3 hours daily to take rest during the day,  this has helped me to charge up keeping me on a balanced mental state.

Sometimes, I don't take enough rest every 24 hours, and sometimes, if it requires me to do a lot of calculative work, I don't usually perform very well. Instead, I can just repeat some kind of mistake repeatedly, but I wonder how some people say they gamble to ease off mental stress while they might just end up losing a lot of money. Often times too, I think there are people who only gamble and waste money all in the name of fun (could that be correct) so, any time they are depressed or emotionally down, they just see gambling as something that can ease off the depression, so they just visit the casino and waste some money.
