Basically yes. It would be common sense that when someone asks you something, to reply. Or, in this case, you could simply just make that update.


You were talking about translators which do not care about keeping their topics updated. I gave you a counter-example: you also have a topic (this translation) where you did not apply the updates.


I don't know how others proceed, but when I am making a translation I keep it always updated, even after years. At least, in case I am aware of changes made to the original text. The time should not be a criterion here, if the translator is aware that the original author updated a text he translated. This is what true dedication looks like.
