Real has a poor defense because from the look of things Athletico wouldn't give them the chance to equalise the goal. Athletico has scored an early goal in the second half again, I don't think that there will be any miracle for Real tonight.
Already in the 85th minute, Real Madrid continued to try continuous attacks, but it would be difficult because Atletico Madrid was trying to survive not to concede another goal, even though it was difficult for Madrid to score two goals to balance the score, it felt like this would be their first defeat.
Not sure that in the remaining final minutes, Real Madrid could equalize, but at least the hope of a goal was still there because their attacks were still being carried out.
It is all done and Atletico Madrid successfully went home with their deserved 3 points. Although Real Madrid fought so hard to either close the winning gap or to have a draw but it was unfortunate they didn't do it. The type of Real Madrid squad that can upturn such a result even with 20mins to end the match is not in the pitch.
It appears that Ancelotti wasn't actually happy. He honestly didn't expect the winning but then he should have known well that Atletico Madrid has now got a good squad with a very fine squad depth. Just imagine Memphis coming in for Morata and also Correa coming from the bench should be able to say the quality and squad depth of Atletico Madrid.
