It is true that PSG has not been consistent enough in the domestic league, but when it comes to results in the Champions League, especially the group phase, they are always promising. The previous win against Dortmund can let them breathe a sigh of relief in this hellish group and I think it's just a matter of how they can continue to manage good results ahead of the next match. Talking about PSG, next week they will face Newcastle, who so far has not been stable and even though PSG will be away, I think they will still win if they appear with the same squad as against Dortmund.
After seeing the performance of each club in Group F, so far the competition has not been fully maximized or we are simply overthinking this group as a hellish group. Due to the fact that PSG could be said to be able to dominate, while AC Milan and Newcastle both had to share points in their first match. It will be a second chance for AC Milan and Newcastle if they are able to get points in the upcoming match.
The question is whether Newcastle can beat PSG and AC Milan can make Dortmund slump. Dortmund, who lost in the first match, will be more aggressive to achieve victory.
It seems that it will still be quite difficult for Newcastle to beat several teams in Group F, but it also does not rule out the possibility that they can surprise many parties. I think Newcastle has not yet returned to its performance last season in the domestic league but slowly they will find it again soon. It's just a matter of how they continue to correct previous mistakes and of course this is a very difficult task for Eddie Howie as Newcastle coach who succeeded in bringing them to the Champions League competition this season.
However, in Group F, Newcastle is indeed the underdog team and for other teams that have not faced Newcastle, such as PSG or Dortmund, they should not be careless because after all they can hold Milan to a draw in the opening meeting and of course still have the opportunity to beat Milan in the home match later.
