Real Madrid's defeat to Atletico Madrid 3-1 really made us realize that no matter how good ball possession is, if you don't have a sharp striker, then it's really in vain. Not only will they not be able to face other big teams later in the UCL, Even against Atletico Madrid they couldn't penetrate Atletico's back line strongly.
This is a huge blow for Madrid but on the other hand, the worst case scenario is that Madrid always apply the same scheme hoping that Jude can always provide more strength in every match, but in the end, the scheme and formation that they have always done over the past few matches has a gap that can be penetrated and this will happen sooner or later.
Overall I really don't like this but on the other hand it is also good for Madrid because with this they can realise that what they have always done by not looking for a competent pure striker in the end they will only become ordinary and I hope this is a concern because once they lose then other clubs as Madrid's opponents in other matches will know what they have to do.
