Pakistan got a blow just before the start of ODI world cup as Naseem Shah got injured. Hassan Ali was included in place of injured Naseem Shah. Pakistan bowling is stable but its there batting that is inconsistent and not performing. We saw in Asia Cup Pakistan batters failing miserably throughout. Pakistan batting is heavily relying on Babar Azam and if Babar fails to deliver the rest of batters also fail to deliver.
Babar Azam is the key to Pakistan batting there is no doubt about it. The opening pair is not reliable, I accept it. Still, Pakistan has a good middle order, Rizwan and Iftikar can create havoc. What they lack is consistent performance, they both tend to forget sometime that they can rotate runs. What I have seen is that they both have a habit to go after the bowlers. They don't rely on singles or doubles, they only rely on big hits, which causes them to lose their wickets.
I might be wrong in judging them as I am not an expert. I still think rather than the batting, bowling is a concern for Pakistan. It is a possibility that the new bowlers might be far better than those who have experience in bowling for Pakistan.
