Lol what we are talking about is the recent Contest and not the present one that ends in October because the recent had take place ending early this September in which Hhampuz did an extension of another one week because the participants seems to be lower compared the the one that ended in before that.
But this coming one? maybe there will be more again to join becauset the theme is clearly that artist understand easily ..
I believe the main reason for that to end a bit later than what they anticipated was the fact that it wasn't clear what they wanted with the topic of it. When you do something like Halloween or Christmas or valentines day etc etc, you know there is a topic for it and it's clear what they want from us as well. But that August one that had to be extended wasn't clear at all and it was just august, that's it.
This is why not many people joined if you ask me, after all it was still a lot of money and that could be considered normal. I get that it's not going to be fun and dandy every single time they make something like this and some of it will be getting some questions regarding the situation without a doubt.

and yes mate , I think the confusion made the competition last month less participation.
and maybe at some point , the team wanted the participants to be more productive , attentive and of course creative.
and yes the team succeeded to bring out the best entry from the participating members .
Yeah, last month was actually the tug of war when we realised the participation had gone down badly. However, as always our kind manager extended the dates for it and the results are in front of us. I still believe they will have more participation in the upcoming one. I assume that's because most of them might have taken a break, could have been thinking about the theme that best fits and other challenges were there in the last contest. Let's hope the upcoming one will be far easier to understand with clear instructions on the theme. I am no longer into this contest because my pencil work limits the way I could portray themes on it. It's definitely dead hard. I am just looking forward to have a next contest with the theme that best such minature artwork. Good luck to all and congrats to previous contest winners.
