Mbappe does have a big influence on the squad but I don't think he can do it alone without the help of other players as support. If you look at when Mbappe was pulled out due to injury in that match, the attacks launched by PSG never decreased, in fact I saw them pressing even more, so that even though Mbappe was not there PSG could still press. After experiencing defeat against Nice, PSG is increasingly confident even though they are currently still in third place in the standings.
In the next match, PSG will face Clermont Foot as the bottom bottom team so it will be easy for PSG to get full points in this match. Competition in Ligue 1 will be even more interesting because it will give rise to increasingly tight competition for the three clubs in the top three and PSG also have to improve the game in every match so they can return to first place in the standings.
It's true that teamwork is needed to strengthen the clubs defense. Hopefully Mbappe injury will not have a big impact on PSG because PSG will be out for 3 weeks until he completely recovers and can return to the club.
