Chelsea have since struggled to adapt with the huge changes to personnel and pochettino has not been able to galvanize the squad that was already on a freefall having work under Thomas tuchel, Graham potter and frank Lampard last season and also with the sweeping changes on the front of transfer I think Chelsea are still coming to terms with pochettinos method which notoriously demanding and require high fitness
Pochettino's demands have not been able to bring better results for Chelsea, so the team management may still have to think big and deeply about Chelsea so that Chelsea's performance can experience a more significant improvement. Because at the start of this season Chelsea still performed quite badly and were even able to lose at home against Aston Villa three days ago. If Chelsea cannot improve their appearance and performance this season, Chelsea will be closer to the relegation zone and this is what the fans and team management are really afraid of.
The only thing that will give Chelsea management and even the Chelsea fans peace of mind is when they realise that bringing back Chelsea to the big club they used to be is not an overnight achievement. They will really need to work hard to beat up the game and the players to the standard of Chelsea Football Club. What happened to Chelsea was change of management which is a huge blow that takes time to heal. Upon the change of management, Chelsea also sold majority of their good players who understood how the system was and signed many of new players who does not have the experience of the club playing pattern. So this has brought a lot of disorder which needs at least three seasons to put in order.
