Chelsea have since struggled to adapt with the huge changes to personnel and pochettino has not been able to galvanize the squad that was already on a freefall having work under Thomas tuchel, Graham potter and frank Lampard last season and also with the sweeping changes on the front of transfer I think Chelsea are still coming to terms with pochettinos method which notoriously demanding and require high fitness
I think Pochettino should be given another chance after this year because he is currently in the process of getting to know the team. This will last for 1 year and as their adaptation to the team increases, they can achieve greater success with the team. What is needed for Chelsea is time and they must get that time by holding on for another year.
It is not worth giving Pochettino a longer chance because anyway, if for example until the end of this year or it can be said that until halfway through the season Pochettino still cannot restore Chelsea's performance. Then obviously, I believe Pochettino will be fired, because basically Pochettino has a very good time to build Chelsea. But what happened was a complete failure, because when a coach has enough time to prepare before starting the season at that time, the coach should have succeeded in making good preparations for the team. But what happened to Pochettino until now for Chelsea, is clearly a failure and worse than Potter.
I think it will be difficult for Pochettino to stay at Chelsea, maybe he will be given a few more opportunities but it doesn't look like it will wait until the end of the year, unless a miracle returns to the Chelsea camp. The Blues will still face quite strong opponents against Arsenal at the end of October and successively against Tottenham, Manchester City and Newcastle in November. Perhaps it was in that period that Pochettino's fate was determined.
