If they lose to Brighton today, it won't be surprising either, Brighton are in great form, they beat Newcastle and Manchester United, and are currently third in the standings, so you understand everything.
Today's match is going to be a tough one for Chelsea against Brighton because Brighton seems to be very inform this season as of there last seven matches they have won five which is a good start, but there match between Manchester United was the one that got me surprise because I never believe Brighton will draw the match let alone win Manchester United 3:1, so putting there performance they had against Manchester United to  Chelsea match today is going to be tough on Chelsea and also Chelsea cannot afford to lose this match after what happened to them against Aston Villa, they will try as much as possible to either win or draw.

That's right, this will be a difficult night for Chelsea in the match between Chelsea and Brighton today. Hopefully this match will be a proving match for coach Mauricio Pochettino,
and also evidence from Caicedo that Chelsea was not wrong to buy him, but Brighton's good performance will be an obstacle for Chelsea to win the match. but Chelsea will definitely try their best to win. Hopefully this match will be a competitive and interesting match to enjoy
I think this will be an easy match for Brighton to win against Chelsea, and as I see in all the predictions, Chelsea is not favored in this match considering the games of the two teams are very different and Brighton is better than Chelsea.
Moreover, Chelsea's current condition is very bad, while Brighton is in good form. Apart from that, it is certain that many Chelsea players are injured and will not be able to appear in the match against Brighton. I want to see what Pochettino can do in the match against Brighton in the Carabao Cup, and I'm sure Brighton will win this match.

The FA has finally put its charge on the Chelsea star, Reece James for violating its rules and regulations (Rule E3) after his, what they reffered to as, “improper, insultive, or abusive” behavior and words in the club's match with Aston Villa towards a match official in the tunnel immediately after they had exited the pitch. I am pretty sure he was annoyed by the loss of the match over the Aston Villa's goal by Ollie Watkins.

For me that was a reaction taken too far and the FA took the right decision to have disciplined the player for his non-chalant behavior. Regardless of what happened at the pitch, you cannot transfer the aggression to an official over your failure to win a match. He didn't stop your club from winning, when you had the opportunity. Like the replies above-mentioned suggested, Chelsea is not in good form and most of your players are in injury, so, it is the duty of Pochettino to continue to restrategize for a win. Chelsea hss been consistent in it's underperformance and needs to brace up at this moment.

Reece James who is also the captain of the club needs to respond to the FA by 29th of this month.
