Next time Chelsea are going to play against Fulham in an away game. After getting a critical win against Brighton in the EFL Cup I assume most people will be wondering if there would be another win coming in the Premier League as well. Fulham are also having difficult days recently. Their defense is even worse as they conceded more goals than Chelsea while scoring the same amount.
With facts like this, Chelsea should be able to take advantage of the situation that Fulham is experiencing. However, Chelsea needs to build solid cooperation in this match in order to save its presence in the standings. There is no other choice for coach Pochettino to achieve victory, and if otherwise I believe his position as coach will be increasingly threatened, just like the previous coach who continued to produce bad results had the fate of being fired.
I thought this was just a lucky win for Chelsea because several times Brighton players actually had the chance to score but were thwarted by Robert Sanchez and after that in the second half Chelsea managed to score goal with pride.
Imagine that there 4 opportunities that I counted for Brighton to score goal and if all the opportunities can produce goal, I think Chelsea will lose badly against Brighton with a score of 4 which they failed to use well and I see Pochettino very proud of yesterday match even though it was luck that can be thwarted by the Chelsea goalkeeper.
