Chelsea won against big teams like Brighton. Chelsea secured a narrow 1-0 win. Even though Chelsea won this match, I don't think their performance improved much. Chelsea's performance is still quite weak. Even in this match, Chelsea could not dominate the match. However, a win against Brighton will probably boost the confidence of the Chelsea players. If the players are confident then maybe we will see better performances from Chelsea players in the coming matches. However, the bond between Chelsea players is not strong. This is the reason why despite having a lot of talented players in the team, their performance is poor. It will be challenging for Chelsea to get full points in the away match against Fulham.
But whatever happened Chelsea still won and it was very good for them but when talking about Brighton I think they also implemented an elimination scheme in this case because they realized that if they had too many competitions then indirectly their players would also continue to be in portions so they had to choose which one was the best and indeed the EPL and Europa League would obviously be their first choice and let the EFL go.
Technically I also like the performance they did in this match even though they lost they still played quite well.
I do like that current starting line up rather than put some useless players like gallagher into the line up. Chelsea just needs to make sure maatsen and palmer will have better chemistry.

It's caused by it has been long time since the last goal of chelsea being made by jackson against luton. I hope that palmer will become a suitable partner for jackson. Chelsea is still having enough time to get more points.
The club will also meet fulham soon. it will be a real test for chelsea. I hope poch understands not to put the players off from their actual positions.
