I wonder how they will perform when they get to play against Liverpool or Man city or Arsenal or even Man united.
Chelsea do not have to look too far ahead, they actually don't have to worry about the big teams for now, what matters is the next game and they have to stop losing games that they have a high probability of winning. The most important thing for Chelsea to do now is to build on their Carabao cup victory, they have to take advantage of the momentum and beat Fulham on Monday, if they do that, it is two wins in a row, and from there they could get the confidence they really need to bring their season to life.
I still doubt especially playing away to Fulham, in fact they are still unable to win at home for the last few games, Chelsea should be a big team with high spending can beat Fulham but this will be difficult even though they have won with Brighton in the EFL cup.
I am also a bit skeptical to see them compete with big teams, but on the one hand sometimes Chelsea when playing with big teams always show great performance but sometimes it never wins and only draws, well that is my guess when Chelsea will meet other big teams.
Now don't know what happened against Fulham and Chelsea are now favorites if you look at the bookies, so there are still doubts that Chelsea will win.
