I know that the number of women involved in gambling is very small because in some countries, people's views of female gamblers are still very bad and they are considered dirty and unfit to be a wife. maybe the results of this research can be used by gambling business owners in developing their business.
Gambling marketing has often (if not always) targeted a male audience, which may make women feel less interested in gambling. Hence, I do agree that gambling has given the feel that it is for men. However, men are also known to be more boastful than women. This statement: "
women don't like it when others see them lose" may not be necessarily the case because I believe that even when a woman wins, she will not want anybody to know as well.
