Ten Hag was slowly able to bring United to victory in the EPL and Carabao Cup. Man United good results in the last two matches can be said to be a turning point in their performance. I think this result cannot be separated from the return of injured players, Mason Mount, Sofyan Amrabat, Varane and Maguire will have the potential to return as starters in the second meeting with Crystal Palace. Overall, it looks like Ten Hag will field the same squad as in the previous match, and will not change many things because it has proven effective in winning matches.
Anthony may also play in Manchester United game this weekend because he has returned back to training and will be available for selection. It may sound reasonable for Ten Hag to repeat the strategy and team selection that he used against Crystal Palace in the Carabao cup which earned them a three goals to nothing victory, but Roy Hodgson is very experienced and may not want to be beaten by the same strategy twice in one week by the same club. I do not expect the same team selection and tactics from Roy Hodgson if he is to win Ten Hags 3-4-2-1 formation.
