invasion. Situation at the southern border is just appalling. 8,000 illegals are crossing the border each day, as per news reports. Just in the month of August, a total of 232,000 migrants crossed the border without any sort of paperwork. Rolando Salinos (mayor of Eagle Pass) was forced to declare state of emergency. Border agents can't just deal with the huge numbers who are crossing the border and it is quite possible that some may be slipping through without any background/biometry check. And from the pictures, I can see that >95% of the migrants are military age men, with very few women or children among them.
Funny you mention those people are mostly military aged men. Because this morning while thinking about the situation in the southern border of USA, I recalled that according to the federal laws there, a person who is an alien and yet engages within the American army, they can eventually apply for citizenship.
Though, I have read that there have been several obstacles put onto place so people who served rightfully, won't get their citizenship so easily as they all should. Very unlikely those men will serve in the army anyways.
I bet that if there were a massive voluntary levy by those migrants and all of them became soldiers for USA, the political speech would chance, even from candidates like Trump and De Santis.
